Alexa Gerasimovich has been modeling since the tender age of 5 months, All my children isn't her gig she was in 9 episodes of As The World Turns as Natalie Snyder, and played Nicholas Cage's daughter Erin in the movie World Trade Center. She premiered on All My Children as Kathy Meshron on December 26 2006. After she was in a tragic accident that claimed the life of her father and left her mother in credical condition. In May 2008 it was revealed that Kathy was the daughter of Tad and Dixie Martin, and Kathy has been living with her father since. On her time off Alexa has been taking on other roles. She recently filmed a commercial for the pbs channel, and has done print work for H&M.

Dannika Northcott took over the role of Kathy after the move. Prior to her start on AMC she was a recurring cast member of the In the Motherhood webisodes and had a role in the movie Lower Learning, as well as more theatrical work. Sadly we have not seen too much of her character on AMC and hope the show gives some more Kathy and Jenny scenes.
