Aidan & Andrew Gonzales portrayed Joey Henrickson Jr on Season 2 of Big Love. Continuing on to show's like Criminal Minds, According To Jim and The Young & The Restless we hope the future brings these two back to our screens.
1.How did the boys like doing According to Jim?
We had a great time on that episode. It was actually the last night of filming for the show EVER, so a lot of people were there and it was a really fun mood on set. Aidan shot the scenes and my dad walked Andrew around the studio to keep him busy.
2.What have the boys been up to lately?
We've done some auditions and their Walmart commercial aired all summer. We haven't "worked" for a few months, but the boys have kept busy with preschool, their brothers, and just being 3 years old. They are definitely still in the business, but like anything, it has it's ebs and flows...this is a slow time for us.
3.How did the boys like filming their Wal-Mart commercial?
That was a blast! They actually shot a lot of footage with the boys together, but ended up using just the Aidan footage. We had a great time, everyone was super nice and it was fun having them as the main character for a change, lol.
4.How did the boys get started in the business?
When they were about 6 weeks old I rad online about how twins can work a lot in the business, so I decided to contact an agent to see how it all worked. They were signed that day and it has just been a whirlwind ever since.
5.How did the boys like working on the Y&R?
Oh we loved working on that show. They called it "big work" and loved going to the studio. Everyone was so nice and great with the boys.
6.Do the boys miss being on sets?
I don't think they really understand the difference. They think auditions are a lot of fun and with cameras in the room, etc...I think they think it's the same as "work"...lol I don't know they ever really knew what a "set" was..lol
7. What was the experience like filming Criminal Minds?
That was a fun show to work on. We filmed both at the studio and on location in a park. Andrew did all the scenes for that show and did a great job!! It was nice to let him work. He had to lay in bed for a long time and act sick.. Everyone said he was amazing, and I agree!
8. How was Aidan shooting his print job different than filming commercials and television?
Print is a lot of fun and different because you are just there with a photographer and the client. He was a star! Can't wait to see the packaging...hope he made it on there!
9. Do the boys get to see themselves on TV?
Yes, they do and love it...it's pretty cute. Though it has created a little problem. They are REAL and they are on tv...so trying to explain that not everyone on tv is REAL..has been a challenge.
Anything else you'd like to add?
I just want to say how grateful I am for all the support for my boys and their work. They are wonderful boys and I am so lucky to be their mom. Thank you all for everything and have a wonderful Christmas!!!
