November Q&A Series - Aiden Medina
Aiden Medina is on a booking roll, having shot numerous print and theatrical jobs this year alone! Recently, Aiden has worked for companies such as AARP, College Humor and Toys R Us, you've probably spotted him in the Toys R Us Big Toy Book this holiday season! Make sure to check out CP Talent and their Facebook Fan Page to stay up to date!
1. How old was Aiden when he first got into the industry?
Aiden was 4 years old when he went on his first audition. Aiden’s first job was for Diapers.com and he was 4 at the time.
2. How did Aiden like working with his fellow CP Talent friends for the NBC promo?
Aiden said, “Pretty good… actually really, really good!” It was a great time for all the kids.
3. What was it like on set for shooting the Walmart print ads?
Aiden stated and chuckled, “I started to feel a little famous.” “I really did!” The photographer, John Blais, was super cool and we took a picture together in matching jeans and white t-shirts.
4. Does Aiden have a preference between shooting print and commercials?
All the jobs have been amazing and I’ve had a lot of fun visiting new places and meeting new people.
5. How does Aiden prepare for his auditions?
Aiden gets a good nights rest and always remembers to be happy. He practices his lines with my mom, dad, or big sister, Hailey. Hailey is fabulous at helping Aiden memorize lines and add expression. Aiden says, “That’s my girl, Hailey!”
6. What was the most exciting part of shooting Team Umi Zoomi?
Well, Aiden did two shoots for Team Umi Zoomi. One was on the “green screen” which was exciting and new. The other shoot was a voice over for a little fish. The voice over day made him feel like a TV rock star because he used headphones and a microphone. All the “technical equipment” in the recording studio was super-cool.
7. How did Aiden like shooting College Humor?
Teladoc for College Humor made Aiden happy once again. It was very exciting to see the finished product on the web. All of the “fake families” that Aiden has been apart of have all been wonderful, talented, and kind.
8. What is Aiden's favorite part about seeing himself on the boxes for Crayola products?
He was thrilled when he saw his face on the box for the first time. We were shopping at our local Target, went down the Crayola aisle, and he said, “oh my gosh, it’s me!” It was fun to bring one into school to share with his teacher and classmates.
9. Who would Aiden love the chance to be able to work with one day?
Aiden and his sister, Hailey, both would love to work with Adam Sandler, Penelope Cruz, Jack Black, Ben Stiller, Drew Barrymore, Will Smith, Salma Hayek, Antonio Banderas, Selena Gomez, and Betty White.
10. What has been Aiden's favorite project to do so far?
All the projects were superb and unforgettable.
Aiden loves watching his Toll Brothers commercial. www.tollkohler.com/stories He is also excited to see himself this year on the Discovery Channel series called Hunted by the Mob, a V-TECH toy commercial, and his role on an AARP commercial too! Aiden will also appear in the Toys-R-Us Christmas Big Book, a “three kings” ad for A T & T, and a Procter & Gamble print advertisement. Aiden is busy in NYC and loves being a 1st grader. Aiden also enjoys all super heroes, especially Batman. Currently Aiden is also enjoying being on a soccer team and telling jokes. Example- What is your dentist’s favorite time of day? (tooth thirty)
Aiden sends “loves” to all family members, friends, teachers, and CP!
Big sister Hailey, is his role model and “girl hero.”
As parents, we feel blessed to have two healthy, expressive, loving children.
Aiden is an active and imaginative little boy who believes that, HE CAN!
We'd like to thank the Median family for participating in our November Q&A series!

November Q&A Series - Gabriel Suttle
Gabriel Suttle has appeared in numerous projects including films, television and commercials! Gabe's recent projects include Bubbglegum Smackers, Tooth Fairy 2, and you also spotted him in Love's Christmas Journey playing the Wiseman! Make sure to check out his official website and his Facebook Fan Page to stay up to date!
1. How old were you when you first started acting?
I started auditioning for work when I was 6. My first movie was a student film when I was 8 years old. It was a non-speaking part, a flashback of the adult actor.
2. What was your favorite part of working on Love's Christmas Journey?
I liked it all. I made a new friend, Danielle Parker. I also liked meeting Sean Astin. I liked the western style of the set.
3. How exciting was it working with a cast completely of kids for Bubblegum Smackers?
That's hard to describe. It was exciting because I got to meet new kids and make new friends. It was fun and the director, Lindsay Garvin was very nice and I liked working with her. She is patient and funny.
4. What is the audition process like for your age group?
The audition process is competitive in my age group. You see a lot of the same actors over and over again. I sometimes get nervous when it's a part I really want. I take deep breathes to stay calm and focused and when I get called into the casting room, I make sure to be polite.
5. How do you prepare your lines?
I work on my lines by highlighting my parts and then studying them until I have them memorized. Then my mom and I work on them and make it real. If I don't have the script until I get there, my mom and I practice and practce until I am ready to go into the auditon or until they call me in. If I am not ready when I am called, I ask for more time. When I am in the casting room and in front of everybody I try to bring the character to life by drawing on real emotions in myself and using them for the audition. Sometimes I get coached for parts but I have to know all the lines first before coaching.
6. Who has been your favorite actor(s) to work with to date and why?
My favorite actors I worked with are Sean Astin, all the kids in Bublegum Smackers, Danielle Parker, Griffin Clevland, Riley Rydin, my friends, and Lary The Cable Guy.......
7. What has been one of the funniest things to happen on set/behind the scenes of a project?
To me one of the most funny things that happend behind set was when I ended up having "gas" during a scene with Larry the Cable Guy and my movie dad. We were in a tight space together and it started to stink. Larry, started making jokes about getting gas, etc.....We were all laughing so hard and it took several takes to get the scene done.
8. Who would you love the opportunity to get to work with one day?
The person I want to work with is Corban Bleu because I think he is cool and super talented.....
9. What has been your favorite project to work on?
My favorite project to work on was Tooth Fairy 2 because it was a very nice environment and very fun to work on. The director, Alex Zamm is a very nice guy that is very patient and kind.
10. What advice would you give to other kids your age wanting to get into acting?
The advice I would give is to start doing projects near your hometown. Try to get jobs on student film projects and be willing to travel for work/jobs. It is important to have experience before going out to L.A. or other larger markets. Keep trying if you really like acting and be positive.
Have fun and good luck.
Thank-you so much to Gabriel and his family for participating in our November Q&A series!!

TV Guide Interview with Michael Easton
TV Guide recently sat down with Michael Easton (John McBain, OLTL) to talk about his storyline including Liam's paternity and when/if John will ever find out! Here's what he had to say:
TV Guide Magazine: John has been in the dark about Liam's true parentage for a year or more — that's a decade in soap time!
Michael Easton: And it feels like it! This has gone on probably too long. They've gotten as much mileage as possible out of a situation that has basically been nothing more than a misunderstanding.
TV Guide Magazine: That could have been avoided if someone had run another DNA test on the kid.
Easton: [Laughs] Which you can get at any Duane Reade or Thrifty! Yeah, it's been a little difficult to play this because John, being a cop, is the kind of guy who'd haul everyone's ass down to the station and say, "Okay, let's do the test."
TV Guide Magazine: How does he feel when the truth about Liam is revealed?
Easton: For a story that got dragged out, it's resolved pretty quickly. I had nightmares of people on rooftops, and guns flashing and searchlights and rain, with Brody becoming a desperate, crazed lunatic when the truth came out. We've done that on our show before. A lot. Instead, they resolve it really nicely between the characters, I think.
TV Guide Magazine: So John's not even a little bit pissed about the time he's missed with his son?
Easton: He has a second or two of denial but then he really embraces fatherhood. It's almost like he's had some sort of spiritual guidance here. He's always had an affinity for Liam and I think he was hoping for this all along. Not that it's going to be easy. He doesn't know what to do when there's a problem, or what to grab. He hasn't read the books. Basically, I'm doing Michael Keaton in Mr. Mom.

Mom.

November Q&A Series - Christina Hanos
Christina Hanos has completed several projects including numerous commercials for big name companies such as Burger King and Master Card! Recently, you may have spotted her on ABC's What Would You Do? Make sure to check out CP Talent and Christina on Facebook to stay up to date!
1. At what age did you begin acting?
I started at age 4. My fist role was a Master Card commercial and it was one of the first auditions, so it was an encouraging start.
2. What inspired you to become an actress?
I was always singing and naturally outgoing and I loved meeting people. I was never shy, which was a really big plus. I enjoy pretending to be the different characters required for the parts I play
3. What was your favorite part of filming your Burger King commercials?
My favorite part of filming the Burger King commercials was going to California. It was fun flying to the west coast and going sight seeing. I saw and met lots of celebrities and famous Hollywood landmarks.
4. What was the hardest part of filming ABC's What Would You Do?
The hardest part of filming the "What Would You Do" episode was having to cry convincingly. At first, I had trouble to cry, even though I was really trying. Finally, I thought about the character I was playing, and how sad it would be to be in that position, and then the tears started.
5. What do you do to prepare for auditions?
Before I go on an audition, I make sure I understand as much as I can about the role and that I know the lines really well.
6. What are the differences between filming commercials and television shows?
The difference between TV shows and commercials is that in commercials you see them more often, but with TV shows there has to be re-runs of the episode, which isn't too common. But filming wise, there is really no difference between them.
7. What was your favorite part of getting to meet Paula Abdul?
The best thing about meeting Paula Abdul was that she gave me a big hug and spoke to me really sweetly. She was really nice and seemed interested in what I had to say. Eva Longoria was very nice, also.
8. Who within the industry would you love to get a chance to work with?
I would love to work with Zac Efron. I really like him; he's super cute and a great actor.
9. What has been your favorite project to do so far?
My favorite project was the Burger King commercials because they were so much fun and I enjoyed working with my repeated commercial "family". The commercials got a got a lot of air play and my friends really liked seeing them. I especially enjoyed the opportunity to work with Michael Bay, who directed one of the commercials, and sitting in Optimus Prime from Transformers. When I was younger, I enjoyed working with Elmo from Sesame Street and taping a Kraft American Singles commercial, because I got to eat a lot of cheese sandwiches, lol.
10. What advice do you have for young girls your age looking to act?
The advice I would give to girls is that, even though there may be a at least 50 girls auditioning for one part each time, don't get discouraged and try your best. You can't get every part you try out for but keep trying anyway. The experience alone is worth it!
Finally, I'd like to add that the most important asset for a young girl or boy who wants to get into acting, is the support from your family. My parents always encourage and support me and my mom never complains about taking me to auditions, and is always proud of me, as long as I do my best.
Thank-you so much to the Hanos family for participating in our November Q&A series!!

'The Middle' star Atticus Shaffer: The Hecks have 'real' problems
But docile as fans of show might be (it doesn’t blow up Twitter during every episode), the show’s youngest star, Atticus Shaffer, says that doesn’t mean the comedy’s blue collar, heart-filled humor doesn’t hit close to home for many. “It’s something kids and adults can relate to because it is so real,” he says. “People can relate to being tight on money and then the dryer just got destroyed or the dishwasher just exploded.” And it’s what The Middle does well. “They’re not some family that lives in upstate New York and they’re magically making money from something. It’s completely different from that. It’s real and it has heart and feeling.”
Tonight’s episode continues the trend. In it, Sue (Eden Sher) and Brick (Shaffer) find themselves in possession of their aunt’s cell phone after it accidentally ends up in a bag of old knick-knacks she gives the pair, and they quickly abuse their new gadget. “They kind of go on a phoning/texting craze and rack up the phone bill, of course. And then they try to cover that up and fix that,” he says.
The experience will carry equal parts lessons and laughs, a mix that’s enables the show to address growing up in a subtle and realistic way, he says. It’s a process he’s enjoyed seeing in Brick, who is already wise beyond his years. “With age comes wisdom, and I feel like [Brick] was intelligent to begin with and he’s become moreso throughout the years. As I have learned, he has also learned. So what’s cool is each season, it’s not just a giant ellipses, it’s in-time,” he says. “I’ve just seen him be more wise about life, if you will.”
